moving health through creative practice

Arts in Health

Arts in Health projects provide creative tools to heal the social fabric as it relates to medicine, by engaging patients, medical practitioners, and their environments in exploring the experience of illness through creative practice.

Projects: oncogrrrls, cosensing healthcare, oncopoiesis, vital signs, collaborative research, workshops, events, and more.

Somatic Facilitation (Co-Sensing)

Using embodied practices for thinking collectively allows new ways of seeing the habitual. These processes involve doing with others, embodied research and joint inquiry as process experiments. I developed this approach to facilitation (Co-Sensing) in a Doctorate in Performance Studies, with a designated emphasis in Practice as Research and Feminist TechnoScience.

Projects: Lab de labs, silkworm lessons, emergent facilitation and participatory quests around the questions that your group cares about.—With an orientation to scientific, biomedical, and cultural questions.

Art Works

Solo and collaborative bodily art works, performances, and more. My art practice is driven by the curiosity: how can we relate with-in more-than-human ecologies, and which forms of queer (as in beyond the normative-expected form) relations emerge?
